Writing and Citing

The Writing Center offers three session formats: onsite in Douglas Hall 115-E, on Zoom, and via e-mail. To schedule a session, you can request one through our Microsoft Bookings if you’re logged into your NMHU account.

The New Mexico Highlands University Writing Center offers writing support to undergraduates and graduates in all disciplines. We’ll assist you at any level of your writing and at any stage in the writing process. We’ll support you as you practice brainstorming, drafting, rewriting, and revising.

Our tutors serve as guides, rather than editors, to help you grow as an independent writer, speaker, and thinker. We believe that talking about and practicing writing are the best ways for you to develop effective writing skills.
